How long can a trailer legally be with out having CDL in the state of Georgia?

According to the Georgia Department of Driver Services, a Class A or B CDL is required to operate a combination of vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, provided the GVWR of the towed vehicle is more than 10,000 pounds.

However, there are some exceptions to this rule. For example, a CDL is not required to operate a recreational vehicle or a farm vehicle. Additionally, a CDL is not required to operate a trailer with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less, provided that the trailer is not transporting hazardous materials or passengers.
