Vacuum the tracks and edges of the window to remove any debris. Check that the weep holes are clear and remove any dirt that is blocking them. Use a wooden toothpick to carefully remove dirt that is compacted into the weep holes.
Examine the edges of the windows to determine the condition of the window sealant. Over time, the sealant will deteriorate. Gently pull off or use a putty knife to remove the old sealant.
Clean the area around the window to remove any dirt that will interfere with the application of new sealant.
Place a container of clear silicone sealant into a caulk gun. Run a smooth bead of caulk around the area where the window meets the frame of the RV. Smooth the caulk with your finger and wipe away any excess with a damp rag. Allow the caulk to dry.
