How to Repair an RV Interior

There are plenty of things that can go wrong in your RV whether it is a motorized or town behind unit. Some can be major problems while others can be a real simple repair. In order to do the repairs listed here you don't have to be the handiest of do-it-yourselfers. Keeping the interior of your RV looking nice and functioning not only adds comfort and appeal to your vacations, but value to the unit as well.

  1. Repair Refrigerator Panels

    • 1

      Clean the panel using a mild soap and water. Dry with a towel.

      Measure the panel using a measuring tape and cut the contact paper to fit the area.

      Apply the contact, rubbing the top to make sure all the air is out and it is applied smoothly.

    Repair Scratches in Wood Work

      Match the stain crayon to the color of your woodwork.

      Color the scratch in with the stain crayon.

      Pat a towel over the area to prevent smearing.

    Repair Linoleum Flooring

      Remove the molding around the linoleum flooring using a hammer or screwdriver.

      Pull up the old linoleum tiling.

      Clean the area using mild soap and water. Dry using a towel.

      Layout the peel and stick tile and make sure it fits the area. Remove the back and stick in the spot.
