RV Camping Shows in Virginia

If you're looking for an RV, you can choose from a pop-up camper, truck camper, travel trailer, fifth wheel or a class A, B or C motorhome, an RV show is a place to start looking. Not only do they have representatives from different manufacturers there, but they also have campground information, equipment and parts for units. They also have seminars and financial assistance for purchasing RVs. In Virginia there are two major RV shows every year.
  1. The Annual Virginia RV Show

    • The Annual Virginia RV Show, traditionally on the first week of March, has deals on any type of RV ranging from pop-up campers to luxury coaches. If you already have an RV then you can shop for parts and equipment. You can also check out campsites in and around Virginia that you can rent by the day, week, month or long term. There are a number of travel seminars by John Holod and RV Adventure videos as well.

Annual Summer Boat & RV Super Sale

    • The Annual Summer Boat & RV Super Sale is held every year in mid-August in Richmond at the Richmond Raceway Complex. This sales is much like a warehouse sale with a number of deals on boats and RVs- both new and used. These are the best prices you can get all year on RVs from seven different dealerships across the state. On site financing is available as well. Admission is moderately priced and parking is free. Remember there will be no fancy displays and seminars, just boat and RV sales.

    Tips

    • Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and walking shows when you attend RV shows. There is an abundance of information given at these shows, so do not feel overwhelmed. Take in the information and collect pamphlets, even make notes if it is helpful for you to refer to in the future. Plan beforehand to have questions to ask dealers and demonstrators. Figure out before how much you can spend on an RV and how you will be using the unit. Where will you keep the unit when it is not in use?
