What speed do you have to be going in Iowa before they pull your license?

Iowa does not have a specific speed at which your license will be revoked. Instead, the state uses a point system to track traffic violations. If you accumulate too many points, your license can be suspended or revoked. The number of points you receive for a violation depends on the severity of the offense. For example, speeding 10 mph over the limit is worth two points, while reckless driving is worth six points. If you accumulate 20 points in a 12-month period, your license will be suspended for 60 days. If you accumulate 30 points in a 24-month period, your license will be revoked for one year.
