Subway from Penn Station to Lexington Ave & 59th St? No Direct Route

There is no single subway line connecting Penn Station directly to Lexington Avenue/59th Street. Penn Station is served by the A, C, E (8th Ave lines) and B, D, F, M (6th Ave lines) via nearby 34th St–Herald Square. Lexington Ave/59th St is served only by the F train (and Q, N, R at 59th St–Lexington Ave on the Broadway line).

To travel between them, take the E train downtown one stop to 34th St–Penn Station, transfer to the F uptown to 59th St–Lexington Ave (~10 min). Or walk ~15 blocks cross-town.
