Use the elevator. Even though most people use escalators to get into the Metro, people with bikes are asked to use the elevator.
Look around for other bicycles. The Metro only allows two bicycles per train car.
Know the time. Bikes are not allowed on the Metro at all during rush hour. Those times are 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
Pay attention to holidays. Bicycles are not allowed on the Metro during holidays and when the Metro may be busy because of other special events.
Enter the train through the side doors. There are three doors on each Metro train car. People with bikes are asked to stay near the ends of the train.
