Click on the 'Schedules' tab at the top of the screen. Select Miami's train station for departure and Savannah for arrival. Select a date and time you wish to leave and then click 'Search.'
Select the route that best fits your schedule and budget, then book your ticket by following Web site prompts to purchasing. When offered amenities to choose from, consider reserving a sleeper car for an added fee, since you will be traveling approximately 12 hours.
Alert Amtrak to any health conditions requiring special treatment on-board before you depart for Miami. Whether you have a restricted diet or travel with an oxygen tank, Amtrak can accommodate your needs.
Pack light for onboard travel. Only two carry-ons are permitted. You will want to pack appropriate clothing (like an extra sweater), magazines and any toiletries you will need.
