Book tickets online via Eurail's Web site, contact Eurail directly via email or call (866) 6-EURAIL to book your tickets and get more information (see Resources).
Go to the Eurail Web site and click on the tab that says "Where to Buy." Go to where it says "Buy Now." Choose the Eurail Regional Pass to book your train travel from Slovenia to Austria.
Choose your desired rate based on the amount of days you would like to be able to travel. The "Saver" price is for 2 people or more. Choose this rate if you are traveling with someone.
Follow the step-by step instructions to the left of the Eurail page for any questions while booking.
Pay separately for your Youth Passes. Youth Passes are discounted passes for those under 26.
Your passes will be mailed to you via FedEx or DHL. Input your address data carefully for proper shipping. Enjoy your trip!
Realize that just because you booked your train trip and bought a pass, it does not mean that you have a place to sit or sleep on the train. You must make reservations for long distance or overnight train travel. Don't arrive to board the train without a reserved seat, or you may not have one at all. On the Eurail Web site, be sure you go to the tab that says "Travel Information" and select "Reservations."
Reserve your seats or sleepers far in advance. You may do this up to 60 days before your trip.
Avoid arriving in Europe expecting to buy your Eurail pass on a whim. Locations to purchase tickets may be very inconvenient to reach and the cost of the passes are often increased over 20 percent.
Travel within Slovenia and book your travel online with the Slovenian Railway directly. This may also be considered an option if the Eurail Pass does not suit your needs or desires.
