Booking travel from Slovenia to Switzerland will require 2 train rides. The 4 hour train from Slovenia to Venice, and then the overnight train from Venice to Zurich, Geneva or Lucerne. Although the Eurail covers much of Europe train travel, the route from Slovenia to Switzerland should be purchased independently, as the Eurail does not offer a direct route from Slovenia to Switzerland.       Buy your train travel from the Venice Santa Lucia station to Switzerland by going to the Italian Railway Web site (see Resources). You can register to become a member and book tickets directly online. You want to reserve tickets for the Cisalpino Train EN "Roma."
