Arrive at the station in Winnipeg, near the intersection of Main Street and Broadway, for trains departing Wednesday, Friday or Sunday at approximately 5 p.m.
Get some sleep on the train, or party on if you prefer. The trip lasts roughly nine hours, so you'll arrive in Saskatoon at about 2 a.m. the day after you left. The station is on Chappelle Drive, approximately 8 km from downtown.
Travel inexpensively. Since the trip is only 9 hours and begins at about 5 p.m., Comfort Class might be your best choice. It is the most economical, and you can catch a nap in the reclining seats. Meals are available in the dining car and charged separately.
Arrange for privacy and comfort in the Blue & Silver Class. Your dinner in the dining room will be included in the price, and you'll have a bed and access to a shower. There are five levels of Blue & Silver options.
Book your travel on the Rail Canada Web site, which can be viewed in eight languages.
If you prefer, you can book your reservations by phone or through a travel agent. You can also purchase tickets in person at the station.
