Most of the resort hotels and accommodations near the airport offer a free airport shuttle to their location. Check your reservation or call the hotel to see if they offer a shuttle and how often it runs. Almost all the hotels offer free shuttles to the theme parks, many of which leave on the quarter-hour.
Due to the high tourist volume, hired transportation is easy to find in Orlando. Whether you are part of a large group and need a charter bus or are looking to add a little pizazz to your vacation and want a limo, you will easily find hired transportation to meet your needs. As of fall 2010, more than 20 taxi companies serve Orlando visitors.
The Orlando LYNX bus system offers transportation throughout Orlando. Though this option is economical, it increases the length of your commute. A trip by car from Orlando International Airport to Downtown Disney will take roughly 30 minutes, while the same trip on the LYNX system takes much longer.
