The three types of memberships available are Basic, Plus and Premier. Each of the memberships offer the same types of services, however they differ in the range of those services provided to the member without additional costs.
All of the membership packages offer the following services: Battery, Towing, Tire-Change, Out-of-Fuel, Locksmith, Stuck Vehicle, Emergency Check Acceptance, Auto-Travel Accident Expense, Legal Defense Reimbursement, Crime Prevention Reward, International Travel Guides and Maps, and Passport Photos.
As an example of the differences between each package, each offers towing services, however under the Basic package, members are not charged for towing services for only up to three miles; the Plus members are not charged for towing up to 100 miles; and the Premier members can be towed up to 200 miles without additional charges. The Basic package per year costs $63.75, the Plus costs $105.75 and the Premier runs $125.75.
The AAA does not only offer members services for their automotive needs, but also travel arrangements, home buying and mortgages, as well as a range of discounts from affiliated businesses such as LensCrafters; NAPA auto parts stores; Amtrak; FTD.COM; Hard Rock Cafe; Reebok outlet stores; The Home Service Store; and the following hotels: Hyatt; Marriott; Hampton Inn & Suites; La Quinta Inns; Best Western; Double Tree; Embassy Suites; Renaissance and Starwood Theme parks: Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Six Flags, Universal Studios; and Hertz car rentals.
