Located in Yosemite Valley near Curry Village, Lower Pines is one of the thirteen traditional campsites in the park. The facility’s campsites come equipped with a fire ring, a picnic table and a food locker to protect groceries from Yosemite’s bears and other wildlife. The camp features three bathroom facilities with potable water and flushable toilets, allows pets, and has a variety of site options including wheelchair accessible, small group sites, and several that allow for RV’s.

Located on Glacier Point Road, Bridalveil is one of only two campgrounds within Yosemite that has horse sites available, along with two group sites all of which must be reserved online. The campground also features 110 family sites that are First-Come-First-Serve only. Amenities at the park include drinking water, fire rings, flush toilets, picnic tables and restrooms with sinks. Campers can enjoy activities such as fishing, swimming, and hiking nature trails.

Curry Village, referred to by locals as Camp Curry, is the location of the shower facilities for all of the traditional campgrounds in Yosemite. While Curry Village offers no traditional campsites where tourists can pitch their tents, they do feature over 300 Canvas Tent Cabins. Featuring a wood floors and doors, the tent cabins come equipped with cot-beds and linens, and electrical lighting, but do not have any plumbing or electrical outlets. One traditional campground amenity that is not available campfire rings, however there are BBQ grills located at many of the camp’s picnic sites.
