Four Florida state parks offer tubing, while several offer camping facilities. Three parks offer both camping and tubing: Blackwater River, Blue Springs and Rainbow Springs. Ichetucknee River State Park offers a popular tubing experience but not camping.
The three state parks with camping and tubing offer full facility camping. These campgrounds are equipped with electric sites, potable water and other camping amenities. Rainbow Springs' campground also has a recreation hall, laundry and playground. Some campgrounds are located on a river, while others may have trails to the springs. Tubing is allowed in designated areas and some rules may apply such as no pets, alcohol or tobacco in the water. Most have tube rentals as well.
Some of the rivers get packed during the summer months. Ichetucknee Springs State Park may host more than 3,000 visitors in a single day during the hotter days of the year, according to FloridaSprings.org. Campgrounds may also be busy during certain times of the year, so reservations are recommended when available.
