This created physical barriers and made movement difficult, disrupting their daily lives and hindering economic activities.

Palestinian homes and structures in the occupied territories were frequently demolished or destroyed by the Israeli authorities, citing reasons like "illegal construction" or "security needs." These demolitions displaced Palestinian families and communities, leaving them homeless and vulnerable.
4. Limited Infrastructure and Services:
In contrast to the resources invested in Jewish settlements, the Palestinian communities faced neglect in terms of infrastructure development and access to essential services such as electricity, water, healthcare, and education. This exacerbated the disparity between the living conditions of Palestinians and Jewish settlers.
5. Human Rights Violations:
Palestinian residents in the occupied territories, including those living near or within Jewish settlements, faced human rights violations, including violence, arbitrary arrest, detention without trial, torture, and restrictions on freedom of movement, expression, and assembly. These abuses often went unpunished, as Israeli settlers were rarely held accountable for their actions towards Palestinians.
