Hatfield, Massachusetts Hotels

Hatfield, Mass., is a small rural town in western Massachusetts, located about two hours west of Boston Harbor in Boston. The population is approximately 3,300 (as of 2011). The town was founded because of the desirable flat, rich land, ideal for agriculture. The town has a rich history, including a role in King Philip's War, a war between the Native Americans and the colonists of New England, in 1675 and 1676. Beef was the first major industry out of Hatfield. Later on, corn, onions, asparagus and potatoes became a major focus. Nowadays, much of the land is still dedicated to farming, although many citizens now commute to jobs in neighboring cities instead of working in the fields. If you're visiting Hatfield, there are two accommodation options in town and alternative options nearby.
