The Steam Train Hotel is located in the town of Antonito. Originally built in 1911, the hotel underwent extensive renovations in 2010 and now offers nine unique rooms, each individually decorated with both contemporary and antique furnishings and most with a kitchenette. The hotel boasts fishing in the nearby Conejos River. Guests also have the option to stay in the childhood home of Indiana Jones, which was featured in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."
The Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn is located in Antonito. It is an independently owned, family-run motel featuring 33 rooms. Double, queen and king beds are available, and all rooms feature both air conditioning and heat. Guests are provided a free continental breakfast, wireless Internet access and DirecTV in their room. Seasonal hunters have use of a large commercial freezer available on the premises. The Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn also has a six-space RV park with full hookups.
The Conejos River Home Hostel is a summer cabin located on the Conejos River, just a few minutes from Las Mesitas. The hostel is open from the beginning of July through the end of September. Twelve beds are available, and all guests receive a free home-cooked breakfast. Both the South San Juan Wilderness and the Rio Grande National Forest are within hiking distance of the hostel. The Conejos River Home Hostel is certified by Hostelling International.
The Conejos River Ranch is located just two minutes east of Las Mesitas and features seven bedrooms and eight log cabins. Cabin sizes range from one bedroom and a bath to three bedrooms and two bathrooms and feature a fully equipped kitchen facilities. The Conejos River Ranch also features a restaurant and outdoor barbecuing area. Wireless Internet is available throughout the ranch. Guests are encouraged to say hello to the various sheep, goats, donkeys and horses that call the ranch home, and children under 12 have access to a stocked fishing pond.
