The St. Hazards Waterfront Resort offers several lodging options and a variety of services and activities. Guests can rent a campsite, cabin, villa or a condo. The rentals are available in sizes from one-bedroom condos up to six-person villas. St. Hazards boasts the Lake Erie Island Microbrewery, a private beach, heated pool and outdoor jacuzzi. The Island Microbrewery hosts a weekend concert series throughout the summer. The resort is easily reached by the Miller Boat Line ferry, and reservations are only required for those bringing a car or RV on the island. The resort also rents golf carts for easy travel around the island.
The Middle Bass Island Inn sits on a quiet, dead-end street. The bed and breakfast has five individual bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The entire brick house can be rented -- the inn sleeps up to 12 individuals when rented as a whole -- or guests can pay for a single room. The waterfront location offers fishing immediately behind the property, and the wraparound porch has views of Lake Erie. Guests also are provided with a daily continental breakfast.
Middle Bass Rentals offers condos and cottages on the island. The lodging options are fully furnished, and Middle Bass Rentals provides linens and towels. Guests can use the kitchen to cook fresh meals or they can visit St. Hazards' microbrewery or J.F. Walleyes, which are within walking distance of the condominiums. The cottages provide more seclusion, as well as yard space for lounging and barbecues. The Sunset Cottage is a waterfront option with direct access to the lake. Most of the condos provide television and wireless Internet, and the cottages have television and parking for boats and trailers.
Roesch Cottage Rentals offers two different waterfront houses. The Roesch Cottage is a three-bedroom house with a full kitchen and air conditioning. The house also has an outdoor grill and a porch with lakefront views. The second rental, Maier Cottage, offers a large yard and a gravel beach. It has 2.5 bedrooms, an outdoor grill and a full kitchen. The houses rent by the week, and guests must provide their own linens and towels.
