For example, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, situated in the heart of a huge animal preserve in Walt Disney World, takes advantage of its surroundings and offers views of the local wildlife alongside authentic African artifacts. The Nickelodeon Suites Resort, meanwhile, is based around the hit kids' TV channel and features dedicated children's areas such as the Code 9 teen lounge, as well as opportunities to meet favorite characters and presenters from the Nickelodeon channel's repertoire of shows, such as "SpongeBob Squarepants" and "Jimmy Neutron."

Music is a broad subject which encompasses many genres, and some Florida hotels embrace this by offering themed suites and events. The Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando contains rock 'n' roll memorabilia to appeal to avid fans, while the hotel's pool boasts underwater music. Disney's All-Star Music Resort includes musical-themed rooms and shops and features a guitar-shaped pool and a piano-shaped pool.
