Vaals Hotels

Vaals is a small town in the Limburg province, in the southeast of the Netherlands. The town borders Belgium and Germany and its greatest attraction is the Drielandenpunt (Three Land Point), where the three countries meet. Vaals is the home of the Vaalserberg, the highest hill in the Netherlands, which is near another important site, the Labyrinth (Labyrint Drielandenpunt Vaals).

    • Built during the 15th century, Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek is a country estate close to Maastricht (the Netherlands), Aachen (Germany), and Liège (Belgium). Its regular deluxe hotel rooms contain two single beds, while its junior suites also provide a separate living space. It has an on-site restaurant and bar, 20 meeting rooms, fitness facilities and a spa and wellness center. A casino is near the Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek, as are plenty of routes for cyclists and hikers.

    De Vier Jaargetijden Epen

    • The De Vier Jaargetijden Epen (the Four Seasons) is a family-run hotel close to Vaals and the Geul valley. Epen is known for its timber-framed houses and is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. The hotel contains 10 rooms, each with its own seating area. It has a terrace bar and a restaurant, which specializes in seafood and vegetarian dishes. Hot stone massages from a trained masseur are also available.

    Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal

    • The Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal is a castle hotel in Vaals. Room options range from standard rooms to its more luxurious "Lord and Lady" suites, which contain a double bed and seating area. The hotel has two bridal suites: the Botticelli Suite with its king-size bed, large circular jacuzzi bath and roof terrace; and the Kennedy Suite with its large canopy bed, claw foot bathtub, seating area and spacious bathroom. The hotel is near several golf courses including the Golfclub Hoog Vaals and the Zuidlimburgse Golf and Countryclub De.

    Hotel de Linde Vijlen

    • The Hotel de Linde is around three miles from Vaals in nearby Viljen. The family-run hotel offers a view of the surrounding woodlands, hills and valleys, where you can go cycling and climbing. It has several ground floor rooms to accommodate guests with disabilities and the hotel interior has a rustic feel to it. A breakfast buffet is included in the room price and the hotel also contains a restaurant, which serves fresh, seasonal meals and has a panoramic view.
