Pine Junction, in Jefferson County, Colorado is an unincorporated area in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, southwest of Denver. Buy feed, lumber, flowers and bait in the downtown area on Interstate Route 285 -- a gradual climb to the highest elevation. There are no hotels in Pine Junction, but there are some within proximity to the town.

A canoe is available for guest use, and children and pets are welcome for a fee. You can even board your horse at the Crystal Lake Resort.
A half hour from Pine Junction, the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Littleton offers guests a choice of king or queen accommodations in any of their 76 rooms. There is a business center, a fitness center and an indoor pool and whirlpool. Next door is the Rox Bar and Grill with an extensive menu; the Vietnamese restaurant Pot of Pho is across the street.
