Hotels Near Seattle Fisherman's Wharf

Boutique hotels, designer spots, studio spaces and chain hotel options surround Seattle’s Fisherman’s Terminal. Whether your style preference leans toward modern and eclectic or old-world elegant, there are luxury, mid-range and budget options all within a four-mile radius of the Terminal.

  1. Luxury Boutique Hotels

    • Boutique hotels in the area include the Hotel Ballard, Ballard Inn and MarQueen Hotel. The Hotel Ballard is a 29-room hotel north of Fisherman’s Terminal that offers guests upscale amenities, such as 24-hour access to the Olympic Athletic Club and a library, as well as elegantly appointed accommodations. Suites have soaking tubs, fireplaces and Juliet balconies while even standard rooms have marble bathrooms with walk-in showers. Also just over a mile north of the Terminal is the Ballard Inn. Only 16 rooms are available to guests -- all of which have been restored to reflect the Inn’s 1902 origins. The deluxe king rooms have private baths, while others have several shared bathroom options. To the south, in the Queen Anne section of Seattle, is the MarQueen Hotel. It is the largest of the three, offering 58 guest rooms with wood floors, kitchenettes and lounging space. Wine receptions are hosted in the European-styled lobby and patrons can enjoy the services of the onsite spa. The hotel’s Tin Lizzie Lounge is open from breakfast through late night cocktail hours.

    Mid-Size Designer Hotels

    • The Maxwell Hotel reflects its arts community surroundings with colorful rooms and common areas featuring mosaics, murals and even children’s crafted tiles in their indoor swimming pool. The Maxwell House has an onsite restaurant, bar and espresso bar and is known for saving a number of its 139 rooms for pet-friendly accommodations. The Hotel Deca is located in the University District and was built in 1931. This Art Deco-styled hotel has 158 guest rooms and three penthouse suites. Guests can enjoy meals in the hotel’s District Lounge or grab coffee and snacks at Tully’s Coffee. Patrons can also enjoy access to a fitness center and the nearby Burke Gilman Trail.

    Chain Hotels

    • A number of Chain hotels are also near the Fisheman’s Terminal and in Seattle’s downtown area. Hampton Inn & Suites has 199 guest rooms and suites. Guests can partake in a complimentary hot breakfast and have access to the gym, a business center and snack shop. The Four Points by Sheraton has 158 guest rooms and provides guests with business services and 24-hour access to a gym, as well as premium cable in the rooms and laundry facilities. The Fireside Café is on site and is open for breakfast and dinner. In addition to the Terminal, the downtown hotels are within walking distance to attractions such as the Space Needle and Pike Place Market.

    Studio-style Hotels

    • Two studio-style hotels are located in the nearby Queen Anne neighborhood: Mediterranean Inn and the Inn at Queen Anne. Mediterranean Inn is the larger of the two hotels with 180 guest rooms. Like the traditional studio apartment, each of the guest rooms has a kitchenette outfitted with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Most of the rooms have windows that open, and as a result, many of the rooms utilize ceiling fans instead of air conditioning. This spot offers guests access to a business center, an exercise room and a Starbucks station in the lobby. The Inn at Queen Anne is a budget-friendly option which has embraced its 1928 heritage in terms of decor while offering modern amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi. Their kitchenettes include microwaves, refrigerators, stovetops and dishware. Each of their 67 rooms is air conditioned, and guests can relax on their rooftop terrace and English garden courtyard.
