Punkin Center is a rural town in Colorado, lying to the east of Colorado Springs and southeast of Denver. To the west, you'll find Pike National Forest, and to the south you'll find Comanche National Grassland. The town of La Junta, the largest town near Punkin Center, is the home of Punkin Center's hotels and motels, since Punkin Center itself is miniature. However, Punkin Center and its activities are still easily accessible from about 20 miles away in La Junta.
