Hungry Horse, Montana, is a small town located in the northeastern corner off the state, not far from the Canadian border. While not many people reside in this remote town, it is a vacation spot given its proximity to Glacier National Park. There are several hotel accommodations located in Hungry Horse, Montana.

There are many activities at the Glacier Park Inn that take you into the national park — from hiking to car tours and boat tours, as well as whitewater rafting and kayaking.     • The Western-themed Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins is designed in the manner of a log cabin. The lodge offers one room, eight unit cabins and nine family cabins. While it is located near the Glacier National Park, there are other activities nearby as well such as skiing at Big Mountain Ski Resort, ATV riding and ice fishing, among other activities. The lodge itself provides a restaurant on-site.

    Mini Golden Inns Motel

    • T Mini Golden Inns Motel was built in 1993 and contains 38 different rooms. There is free parking available on-site. All rooms have queen-sized beds and many contain Jacuzzi tubs. The hotel boasts its views of the Montana mountains. Activities include hiking, biking and canoeing, as well as family trips to the Big Sky Waterslide and go-Kart tracks.

    Timber Wolf Resort

    • Located in the Flat Head Valley, the Timber Wolf Resort offers RV spaces, hotel rooms, cabin rentals and also a bed-and-breakfast. It rests on 20 wooded acres and is nine miles from Glacier National Park. Activities nearby include whitewater rafting, hiking, fishing and horseback riding. There is a covered barbecue area on-site for guests to do their own cooking, as well as a picnic area with grills. There is a General Store on-site as well.
