    • The Cuthbert House Inn is a bed and breakfast that dates back 200 years. The Cuthbert family were successful indigo and cotton planters who built this Federal style house in 1790 as a retreat. It is Beauforts's only 200 year old Antebellum mansion located in the Intracoastal Waterway. The inn has verandas that overlook Beaufort Bay and formal courtyard gardens.
