Middleton is a small town in northeastern Massachusetts. It is nine miles northwest of Salem and 23 miles north of Boston. Incorporated in 1728, it is mostly residential areas with several outdoor activities. The Middleton Pond is one the town's most prominent natural features. The small town has little to offer in the way of accommodation, but it is only a short drive to other larger areas.
