Ghana's Hotels

The Republic of Ghana is situated in a tropical region in West Africa on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Tourists visit Ghana to take advantage of the beaches, shrines, museums, markets, shops and cultural centers, such as the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, which was built in honor of the American civil rights leader who lived in Ghana at the end of his life. Ghana offers a variety of hotels and resorts for travelers.

    • The Golden Tulip Accra is five minutes from the airport and located in Accra's business district near several markets, nightclubs, museums and restaurants. There are 238 rooms and suites as well as apartments and chalets for extended-stay guests.     Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort

    • Surrounded by mountains in the Ashanti region and located on the shore of Ghana's biggest natural lake, Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort has 20 air-conditioned rooms with refrigerators, mini-bars and TV. The on-site restaurant serves free daily continental breakfast and is open for dinner every evening. The hotel has high-speed Internet access and a meeting room that seats 100 people. Lake Bosomtwe was formed over a million years ago by a fallen meteorite and today visitors can walk or hike along the rim of the meteor crater. The lake is also available for swimming, boating and fishing. Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana, is approximately 22 miles from the hotel and has attractions such as the Kumasi Zoo, the Kumasi Museum, which used to be a British fort, and the large cultural center, the Palace of the Ashantehene.
