Resaca is a small city in Gordon County, Georgia, situated just off Interstate 75 and close by the Oostanaula River. The cities of Calhoun and Dalton are near Resaca. Local attractions include the Battle of Resaca Reenactment held annually in May, Chattahoochee National Forest, Calhoun Elk Golf Course and Salacoa Creek Lake.
