The small town of Talihina is located in the southwest of the State of Oklahoma, approximately 55 miles from the Arkansas border. The area is best known for its famous 108-mile-long Talimena Scenic Drive, which begins eight miles east of Talihina and loops around Winding Star Mountain, Queen Wilhemina State Park and back to Talihina.
