Hotels in Slovenia, Europe

Slovenia is a country that was part of the former Yugoslavia and is now a multi-party democracy (since 1991). Its location puts Slovenia at the crossroads of the Mediterranean, central Europe and the Balkans. The Alps are to the north in neighboring Austria, and the Southern coast is a short 46 kilometers between Italy and Croatia, with a limestone region of underground rivers, caves and sinkholes. Hotels of all categories are available throughout the country.

    City Hotel Ljubljana

    • The City Hotel is situated in the center of Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, conveniently located near the rail station and bus stops. The hotel offers both standard and superior rooms.     Hotel Paka

    • Hotel Paka is located in Velenje and is considered a good option for business travelers planning a conference or seminar. It has a large hall called the Center Paka. The hotel was built in 1959 but was fully renovated in 1998. It consists of 52 rooms equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, key-card system, satellite TV, safe, Internet access and telephone. Guests have access to a sauna, computer room, aqua massage, solarium and a beauty parlor. There is both a hotel restaurant, offering an extensive menu, and a cafe which serves pastries and coffee.
