This show, nothing short of an experience, has over 12. 5 million synchronized LED lamps and 180 strobe lights that create a six-minute extravaganza on the street's vaulting, and is performed every hour on the hour from 8 p.m. to midnight. Spectators can enjoy a variety of scenes including "Ophelia's Dream," a fantasy-based creation, and "Bad to the Bone," a wild motorcycle ride. Discover the history behind the city of light's luminescence at the Neon Museum, which is located on Fremont Street. The museum allows visitors to take a self-guided tour of the most recognized neon signs from Las Vegas of yesteryear. The original Aladdin's lamp from the Aladdin Hotel, which is now the site of Planet Hollywood, and the horse with rider from the old Hacienda Hotel are available for viewing free of charge. However, donations are appreciated.

Explore the firefighter lifestyle during a tour of the city of Las Vegas fire department. Uniformed firefighters allow visitors to sit on a working fire truck, view the insides of ambulance and paramedic vehicles and try on protective gear. Tours are free, although the department asks that visitors reserve a tour time 10 days in advance.

Hand of Faith, the world's largest known golden nugget that was found by using a metal detector, is located in downtown Las Vegas. The golden nugget, discovered in 1980 by an Australian searching for hidden treasures, was purchased for $1M. The Hand of Faith, weighing almost 62 pounds, is located in the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino and is available for viewing by visitors to the hotel.
