Crane, Indiana, is located in Perry Township in the southwest part of the state about an hour and a half southeast of Terre Haute. Crane is a small town of fewer than 200 people. Crane is best known for its proximity to the Naval Surface Warfare Center and the Crane Army Ammunition Activity station.
