Summerfest, the largest music festival in the world, takes place every summer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Begun in 1968, Summerfest has grown to include hundreds of musical acts, vendors and attractions at dozens of venues of close proximity.
The Milwaukee area's numerous hotels fill up quickly for Summerfest. Though the Festival Hotel Network contracts with area hotels to hold rooms for last-minute guests, it recommends that you book early.
