Poland's Famous Hotels

If you are visiting Poland, there are some great famous hotels to stay in. Poland is the ninth largest country in Europe and has an interesting, rich and complex history. Warsaw was completely destroyed during World War II and is known as "the phoenix city"; the polish people stoically rebuilt it from the ashes. Auschwitz is also in Poland, this is a place that was filled with horror during World War II; it is now a memorial and museum.

      This hotel is near the site of the horrors of Auschwitz. The people here actually call the town "Oswiecim," as it was the Germans who renamed it Auschwitz. The hotel itself has had famous guests such as former French President Jacques Chirac and the Dutch Royal family. The hotel offers a "homely" atmosphere and has two restaurants and a cellar bar.
