One of the more moderately-priced options in the area, the Travelodge Parksville is centrally located just a short walk from both the beach and downtown. There are also eight provincial parks in the surrounding area. The hotel offers a selection of king-, queen- and double-bed units, each with free Wi-Fi Internet access, a refrigerator, microwave and 32-inch flat-screen TV. The main hotel features several conference rooms and an indoor pool and hot tub. A deluxe continental breakfast is provided free of charge.

Situated just across the street from the beach where the annual sand sculpting competition is held, the Sandcastle Inn is a small hotel, offering some of the lowest rates in Parksville. However, it has a variety of lodging options, including standard, deluxe and executive rooms and suites. Each room comes with the most basic amenities: a TV and air conditioning. Some rooms do have kitchenettes. The main hotel has a meeting room and barbecue area.
