Uchee Creek Army Campground and Marina is located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. The park is 385 acres and includes 40 cabins, 85 RV sites, 15 chalets, tent sites, rental facilities, recreation areas and outdoor activities. Uchee Creek is minutes away from Fort Benning's main post. There are small, medium and large log cabins, park homes, classic chalets and executive chalets. The price of cabins will range from $43 to $125 for daily rentals and from $258 to $750 for weekly rentals depending on the size of the cabin. There is a two-night minimum and seven-day maximum. Recreation includes swimming in the Uchee Creek swimming pool, a fishing pier, pavilions, picnic areas, board games, bicycle trails, hiking trails and boat rentals. Log cabins include clean linens, full-size bunk beds, a sofa and a love seat. Master suites include a queen-size bed and a TV in every bedroom.
Pine Mountain Cabins is a resort located in Pine Mountain, Georgia, 40 minutes from Columbus. Rates for cabins are from $99 to $165. Pine Mountain has a variety of different log-cabin designs and themes, including Sweetheart's Farm House, Cupid's and Lovie Dovie's. The park offers eight acres of fishing lake. Cabins include kitchen, a queen-size bed, cable television, unique antiques and a heart-shaped whirlpool tub. Attractions nearby are Callaway Gardens, Butt Mills Farm, Roosevelt State Park, the "Little White House," Warm Springs Village and Wild Animal Safari.
