    • Uchee Creek Army Campground and Marina is located within Columbus at Fort Benning. The campground offers cabins and chalets for members of the military and their family members. Department of Defense employees are eligible as well. Cabin sizes vary, from a small cabin offering of one full bed, and a bunk bed set, to a large cabin of one full bed, two singles and a sofa. The smaller, or Classic Chalet, offers two bedrooms, each with a full bed, as well as four bunk beds, a sofa and loveseat. On-site camping, a country-style store are available and pets are allowed in certain cabins with an initial pet fee of $25 and a daily fee of $5. Check in is from 3-6 p.m., while check out is 11 a.m.
