Redwood Cabins in Yosemite

Yosemite National Park's Redwood Cabins are a group of more than 130 vacation home rentals. This community is at the southern end of the national park, near Highway 41 and Wawona, California. The Redwoods come in a variety of sizes and classifications. As of 2010, the economy cabins are priced around $150 per night, while others are $300 or more. The premium cabins are actually closer to the size of a larger home, and some even have garages. Vacationers looking for luxury accommodations in the heart of the wilderness will appreciate these spacious cabins offering many of the amenities of home, along with Yosemite's scenic beauty. Nearby activities include hiking, mountain biking, golfing, horseback riding and rafting.
  1. Bronze Classification Cabins

    • The Bronze vacation homes are budget priced and the most economical. Cabins with one to six bedrooms are available, with one to four full baths. Basic amenities include heating systems, decks with barbecues, and bed and bath linens. Each cabin has basic functional furnishings in every room, plus a full-scale kitchen that includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, housewares and a toaster. Several of the units come with a shower and tub combo in each bathroom.

    Silver Classification Cabins

    • Silver vacation homes are a bit more upscale than the Bronze and feature newer furnishings with minimal wear. These cabins are available with one to five bedrooms, which are furnished with a queen or king bed, and larger cabins have queen sofa beds in the living area. Each of the two-story larger cabins has a basement gaming room with a high-definition TV, DVD player and wireless Internet.

    Gold Classification Cabins

    • Gold vacation homes have appliances and furnishings that are in excellent condition. These cabins have granite counter tops, stone fireplaces, family gaming rooms, washers and dryers, fully equipped kitchens, forced air heat, outdoor hot tubs, wireless Internet and satellite TVs. One to four bedrooms are available and are furnished with queen or king beds. The living areas also feature queen-size sleeper sofas.

    Platinum Classification Cabins

    • The Platinum classification cabins have four bedrooms and three or four full bathrooms. These vacation homes have luxury furnishings and high-end amenities. Guests will find granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms; gas fireplaces in the master bedrooms; gaming rooms with pool tables, foosball tables, plasma TVs, DVD players and wireless Internet; whirlpool bathtubs; washers and dryers; central air; full-scale kitchens; and decks or patios.
