Tent Cabins in Curry Village at Yosemite

Nestled in the bustling valley of Yosemite National Park you will find Curry Village, which has many accommodation choices including motel rooms, canvas tent cabins, and even cabins with their own private bath. If need be, you can also request a signature tent cabin which has insulation to make it a more comfortable stay. Be advised that they do have guidelines visitors must follow, some of which can be found below. Curry Village offers many dining choices. While grills are present at a variety of the picnic areas, there are not any campfire rings or cooking facilities.

  1. Tent Cabins

    • Curry Village offers canvas covered tent cabins that have a wooden frame, floor, and door with canvas sides and roof. Cot-style beds and an electrical light come available in the tents. Some of the tent cabins at Curry Village are heated, and there are a few that can hold up to four people. The heaters are only used in late September, sometimes early October, and then shut off when spring comes. You can relieve your worries by simply bringing a sleeping bag or extra blanket. Should you prefer a more cozy experience, you might enjoy the Signature Tent Cabins at Curry Village. The panels of these tent cabins are insulated.

    Amenities

    • When staying in the tent cabins at Curry Village, they provide pillows, sheets, and wool blankets. You won't receive daily housekeeping, but your towels will be replaced and your trash taken out. There are two central showers and five bathrooms arranged throughout the camp. You can also request more blankets at the front desk when you check-in, but each person is allowed a limited amount so you might bring extras if you believe they will be needed.

    Camp Etiquette

    • Curry Village has guidelines that are enforced for all visitors. Be respectful of others with noise; quiet hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can call the front desk if you experience disrespectful neighbors. Food must be properly contained at all times. The front desk offers safe-deposit boxes should you need somewhere to store valuable possessions. Pets are not allowed in the Curry Village accommodations, but you can find kennels on a seasonal basis at the stables. Any pets on the Curry Village grounds must be on a leash. Kennels are available seasonally and are located at the stables. Smoking is also prohibited in the tent cabins.
