Kings Canyon National Park, located in central California, boasts giant mountains, canyons, caverns, lakes, meadows, pools, waterfalls and the world's largest trees. A variety of activities are available, from cross country skiing to hiking, depending on the season, and several cabins are available for guests inside and on the park's borders.
Located in the center of King's Canyon National Park and rated as one of the top U.S. family camps by \"Good Morning America,\" Montecito Sequoia Lodge offers 14 cabins that provide a view of either mountains or the lodge's private lake and can accommodate four, six or eight guests. Beds include queen size beds and deluxe bunks; guests share a bathhouse.
The lodge offers a groomed trail system during the winter for those who cross country ski. It also provides opportunities for snowboarding, snowshoeing, snow tubing, snow biking, igloo building, swimming in a heated pool or lake, hot tubbing, swimming lessons, waterskiing, boating, horseback riding, archery, tennis, mountain biking, fencing, gymnastics and yoga.

Keough's Hot Springs is located on the eastern border of the Kings Canyon National Park and Sierra National Forest. As of May 2010, two luxury tent cabins are available, though it is adding more. One cabin includes a queen size bed and a twin pull-out love seat bed with three passes to the hot springs while the second cabin includes a queen size bed and two passes to the hot springs. The restrooms and showers are a short stroll from the cabins.
Keough's Hot Springs offers two pools. The large one measures 100x40 feet and ranges from 3 to 8 ½ feet deep. Its temperature ranges from 86 to 89 degrees in the summer and 90 to 92 degrees in the winter. The smaller hot pool is 15x40 feet and is 2 feet deep, on average. It is 104 degrees F.

The Mt. Williamson Motel is located to the east, just outside of the Kings Canyon National Forest. Several rustic, historic cabins are available. Amenities include free hot breakfast served into the Motel's dining room, cable television, air conditioning, heating, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee and tea in each cabin, hair dryers and clock radios.
Knowledgeable travel guides are available, and the staff speaks French, German, Italian and Spanish in addition to English. A barbecue area is available for guests' use and pets are welcome.
