The Pocono Mountains, located in Pennsylvania, is a large recreation area that features hotels, lodges, cottages and rental cabins. Spruce Lodge in the Poconos is a two-story single-family log cabin with a wrap-around covered front porch, an outdoor fire pit, a paddle boat, a walking path to the dock on Lake Harmony and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The home sleeps eight in the bedrooms and two more in the finished basement. A TV, stereo, comfortable couches, exposed log walls and a rustic stone wood-burning fireplace are all part of the family room; a bar, TV, newer fireplace, laundry and half bath can be found in the basement. Fresh-ground coffee and tea, S'mores ingredients and snacks are complimentary. Four restaurants and a summer ice cream stand can be found nearby. The lodge is available for rent on weekends in February through May and September through December each year. Weekly stays are required from the end of May through early September. Rates may vary according to the time of year.
