Minocqua, located in northern Wisconsin's Oneida County, is a small town surrounded by forest and thousands of lakes and rivers. The population increases in the summer with the arrival of thousands of seasonal residents. Visitors enjoy many outdoor activities including boating, snowmobiling, hiking, swimming, fishing and water sports. Vacationers do not have to leave their pets behind when visiting the Minocqua area.

Each non-smoking cabin is fully furnished and includes a fireplace, housekeeping services, cable television, full baths, a kitchen and dining room. The resort has many other amenities and activities like fishing contests, basketball hoops, community fire pits, sand beach, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits and coin-op laundry. Dogs are welcome with management approval before check-in and for a non-refundable fee. Dogs must be leashed on resort property and cannot be left alone in any cabin unless penned. They are not allowed on cabin furniture.

Pine Hill Resort, on Lake Kawaguesaga on Minocqua's chain of lakes, offers 12 cottages with lake views. All cottages are two to three bedrooms with refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, utensils, cable television, picnic tables and outdoor grill. Lake Kawaguesaga features musky and walleye for anglers, and the resort has its own private boat launch. Outboard motors and pontoon boats are available for rent. Pine Hill also has a sand beach with water trampoline and raft. Pets are always welcome at Pine Hill for a non-refundable weekly fee.

Located in a secluded bay on Lake Minocqua, Sunset Bay has five one- or two-bedroom pine cabins available, each with a charcoal grill, television, modern bathrooms with showers, automatic heat and fully equipped kitchen including refrigerator, gas, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, utensils. Sunset Bay features a beach with swim raft, playground, fire pit and fish-cleaning house. Sunset Bay welcomes pets for a non-refundable weekly fee with management approval before check-in. All pets must be house broken and leashed, and cabin dishes should not be used as food and water bowls.
