How to Use Hilton Honors Points on Amtrak

Hilton HHonors members can earn points by staying at more than 3,600 hotels and flying on more than 50 different airlines worldwide. Members can use those points for a variety of services, including hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates and Amtrak fares. Before you can use your points for an Amtrak ticket, you must first contact the proper Hilton HHonors department to exchange them.

      Have your Hilton HHonors member ID available. This can be found on your monthly statement, or by logging into your HHonors online account at Hhonors1.hilton.com.

      Ensure you have acquired at least 10,000 Hilton HHonors points before attempting to exchange your points. A Hilton HHonors member will be able to receive 1,500 Amtrak reward points for every 10,000 HHonors points.

      Contact the Hilton HHonors customer support center that is closest to you at Hhonors1.hilton.com/en_US/hh/customersupport.do. Request code RX2V1 when speaking with the agent.

      Schedule your ticket with the representative who transfers the points for you, or by visiting the Amtrak rewards website at Amtrakguestrewards.com.
