Hotel and Rock Cottages in Port Aransas, Texas

Port Aransas is the only town on Mustang Island, north of Padre Island in the Gulf of Mexico and 25 minutes from Corpus Christie. Barrier Islands protect Port Aransas from storm waves and the many small surrounding islands give Port Aransas the reputation for great fishing, shell-collecting and natural adventures. The Port Aransas Ferry provides free transportation to the mainland 24/7 with six large vessels. There are 23 hotels and motels and 13 cottages so all that's left is to start packing.

    • Rock Cottages of Port Aransas are all within walking distance to the beach. There are 27 cottages available with room for up to six people. Choose the one room with a refrigerator and TV in the bedroom or a three-bedroom cottage with three queen-sized beds, a kitchenette and a small dining room. All rooms have basic cable and TV, AC and heat, direct-dial phones and microwaves are available on request. For a small deposit, your pet can stay with you.

    3rd Coast Inn

    • The 3rd Coast Inn is locally owned and located in the center of the fishing village and about three blocks from the beach. You can enjoy a poolside cookout, relax in the hot tub, and take a walk downtown for dinner and shopping. Each room has cable, Wi-Fi, AC and heat and a kitchenette. You also have access to the outdoor, covered patio with gas fire pits to help warm up if the gulf breezes get chilly.

    Plantation Suites

    • Plantation Suites was built to resemble a Caribbean plantation with lush grounds and palm tree-lined approach. As a guest, you'll receive a complimentary continental breakfast with hot items like omelets and biscuits and gravy, Wi-Fi, in-room refrigerators, microwaves and coffeemakers and hair dryers. On the grounds of the hotel you'll find horseshoes, sand volleyball courts, barbecue pits and a heated outdoor pool with sauna. And pets are welcome.
