Twin Anchors in Sicamous operates a rental fleet of nearly 100 custom-designed and locally built houseboats in five styles accommodating up to 24 passengers. Operating on the Shuswap since 1964, the company supplies watercraft to 18 rental marinas in North America.
Customers choose three, four and seven night rental packages. Self-piloting rentals include a short, but comprehensive orientation lesson. Customers supply their own groceries, beverages and bedding. Twin Anchors operates from April to September with departures from Sicamous and Salmon Arm.
Special event packages for weddings or corporate events include charter flights, full catering and fishing. Extended services include winery tours, golf, resort accommodations and spa treatments.

Waterway Houseboat Vacations, operating from Sicamous since 1968, currently offers a fleet accommodating groups ranging from a single couple to 30 passengers.
Smaller vessels include a hot tub, water slide, gas fireplace, TV with DVD player, Sirius radio and a fish finder. Vessels accommodating 12 to 15 passengers are available with designs tailored to wheelchair accessibility and medical necessities.
Waterway's largest houseboat, a three-story wonder stretching 94 feet in length and 24 feet wide, offers executive amenities such as a furnished boardroom, video conferencing, 14-foot ceilings, granite counter tops, a large hot tub and a chandelier. Dual walkways connect six staterooms and five cabins.

Bluewater Houseboats operates from Sicamous and offers seven boat styles accommodating up to 17 passengers. Standard amenities include a full kitchen, gas barbecue, TV and stereo and a forced-air furnace. Exterior details include safety railings, a swim ladder, water slide and bimini top. Bluewater's luxury model adds an 8-person hot tub, staterooms and an upper deck steering system. All boats come with 24-hour monitoring through VHF radio and round-the-clock servicing.
