Situated slightly east of Yosemite National Park, the Lake Front Cabins are located in a spectacular area not far from the Nevada state line. The property has one- and two-bedroom cabins along June Lake, which is a popular area for fishing, hiking and wildlife watching. Larger families can opt to stay in the main house cabin that sleeps up to six. Open year round, the Lake Side Cabins are also adjacent to a marina on the lake. The cabins, which are pet and smoke free, are equipped with linens, soap and towels. The living rooms have arm chairs, a gas log wall heater, a ceiling fan, cable TV and a DVD player. Approximately two hours west of Los Angeles, the Big Bear Lakefront Cabins are part of the Shore Acres Lodge property in the town of Big Bear Lake. Among its 12 cabins, which are available from Memorial Day until the middle of September, are two-bedroom units that are ideal for families.
