Catskill Resorts

The Catskill Mountains can be found in New York State, west of the Hudson River, and are considered to be more of a plateau than a series of mountain ranges. The Catskill Park and Forest Preserve was established to help preserve the character of the area, which caters to thousands of tourists each year looking for outdoor adventure and winter snow sports. Visitors to the Catskills can enjoy activities such as mountain biking, cliff diving, hiking, fishing, eagle-watching, kayaking, skiing and snow boarding. There are also a number of resorts in the area to choose from.
