• The Inn At Lake Joseph is a 135-year-old mountain lodge nestled in the Catskill Mountains on a 250-acre private lake. Guests can choose from 17 different rooms, all designed with rustic, country decor. Rooms feature luxuries such as large four-poster beds, whirlpool baths, fireplaces and private sundecks. All rooms feature cable television, radios and alarm clocks. Catskill Lodge

• The Catskill Lodge can be found high in the northern Catskill Mountains just two hours from New York City. It was originally a Queen Anne style home built in 1892, and definitely gives guests a nostalgic feeling of yesteryear. All rooms feature antique furnishings, televisions, wireless Internet and alarm clocks. A full country breakfast is served each morning in the main dining room from 8 to 10 a.m. followed by activities such as hiking, horse-back riding, kayaking, biking, golfing, wine tasting and fishing. In the winter season, visitors can enjoy both downhill and cross country skiing at nearby Wyndham Mountain or Hunter Mountain, followed by a cup of hot cocoa in front of the fireplace in the lodge.
