Located just south of Interstate 90 on U.S. Highway 85 is the Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort. The resort has 185 paved, full hookup RV sites with shower and laundry facilities. Other amenities include a pool, hot tubs, free wireless Internet, a playground and tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. Elkhorn Ridge also provides an on-site gift and general store that sell souvenirs, supplies, food and liquor.
Driving from Elkhorn Ridge to tourist attractions, like Crazy Horse Monument and Mount Rushmore, takes approximately one hour. Sturgis is about a 20-minute drive from Elkhorn Ridge.

The Rush-No-More Campground is at Exit 37 off Interstate 90. All RV sites are full hookup sites, and there are luxury RV sites as well. The luxury RV sites come with a patio, patio furniture, a gas grill and, in some cases, a hot tub. The campground provides many other amenities, including free wireless Internet, laundry and shower facilities, a playground and basketball court, a beer garden and a weekly steak night.
Rush-No-More is approximately 40 miles away from Mount Rushmore, five miles from Sturgis and 25 miles to Spearfish.

At the Whispering Pines Campground, visitors find themselves camping in a spacious mountain meadow setting. The campground is located off Interstate 90 at Exit 57. Amenities include shower and laundry facilities, a playground, a general store, daily breakfast specials and free wireless Internet. Pets are allowed within the campground, but must be kept on a leash at all times.
Whispering Pines is approximately 25 miles from Mount Rushmore, 28 miles from Crazy Horse Monument and 25 miles from Deadwood.

Jellystone Park Camp-Resort is in the eastern part of the state, also just off Interstate 90 at Exit 402. The park has almost 100 RV sites that are either full hook-up sites or water and electric-only sites. Jellystone Park is a family oriented campground and includes such amenities as miniature golf, an indoor theater, a heated pool, playgrounds, a game room and a general store that sells camping provisions.
Jellystone Park is just a few miles outside of Sioux Falls and close to attractions like the Great Plains Zoo, Catfish Bay and Wild Water West water park.
