RV Camping in Sayer, Pennsylvania

Sayre, Pennsylvania is located south of the New York-Pennsylvania line in Bradford County. It is a small community that grew up around the Lehigh Valley Railroad. Just a short distance away there are campgrounds that can accommodate recreational vehicles.

    • Just east of Sayre, Pine Cradle Lake Family Campground is located in Rome, Pennsylvania. Riverside Acres Campground is south of Sayre in Towanda, Pennsylvania.

    • Both campgrounds offer full water, electric and sewer hookups, picnic table and fire ring. Pine Cradle features a heated swimming pool. Restrooms, bath houses and showers are also available.

    Cost

    • Daily rates at Pine Cradle range from $28 to $42 (as of 2010) and $168 to $252 weekly. Riverside Acres offers daily rates of $30 to $40, weekly rates of $180 to $240 and monthly rates of $475 to $600.

    Activities

    • RV campers can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, hiking and horseshoes. Nearby attractions include the Corning Glass Works, covered bridges, antique shops, golf and bowling.

    Geography

    • Binghamton and Elmira, New York are only an hour or two away by car. The Finger Lakes and Wine Country are also within driving distance.
